Still around?
Just wondering if you guys are still reading this thing. Have fun with the wedding this weekend Matt! Wish I could be there for it.

More than meets the eye
I'm totally going to see that movie... in like ten years when I have the time. Sounds like most everyone else has actually started with the pain: I start tomorrow on Heme/Onc which will be cool. In the meantime, they've been giving us death by powerpoint and I've been trying to set up my home. Kari is back in NH working on wedding stuff (she couldn't miss the cake tasting) so I'm all alone and planning on an adventure today to the National Space Museum on the mall. One last day of having fun!
Sweet. Plus, here's a pic to remind us of better times

INTERN YEAR BITCHES
it's so on!
sorry it took me a while to get rockin on this post. (took me forever to get internet service working at my house), but now, this blog shit is on bitches!!
next week, we get a new R2 resident, another intern (for a total of three), 2 med students and 1 sub-I. it will be the largest team ever. hopefully that means less work for everyone. we'll see.
i don't know about you guys, but i finally understand the meaning of the kinda inappropriate, and i don't know if i will use it from now on phrase: "running around like a chicken with it's head cut off." that's pretty much the first week of intern year. everyone is super nice though. it's weird, being in new hampshire for so long and then just being thrown into the chaos of intern year, i didn't get a chance to appreciate the ethnic diversity of sac town. it is suppose to be the most diverse city in the US (though San Jose was the first city where the minority became the majority in the US; some bay area trivia for you all). but yeah, today i finally appreciated it, from asian to black to hispanic to puerto rican. they all here.
pedro, i have wanted to call you these last couple of days. but by the time i get around to it it is past 8 making it too late for comfort on the east coast. will try again this weekend. hope your mom enjoyed NH and you didn't sweat at her too much :)
brian saw some awesome rainbow, sunshine nature scene today. he couldn't take a photo. fuck you, bri.
bjorn, how's miss south carolina?
matt, how is your miss new hampshire (Kari)?
i'm starting to do dr. lewis's radiology core cases when i have time so that i can learn some film reading abilities. you guys recommend that? i like clip cases. i enjoyed it during peds actually.
aiite, transform and roll out (who's going to see that movie?)

Look out for the sand hole
So, two interesting things:
1) I swam against this dude in college (he went to Williams).
2) Sand holes? I guess this is the sort of thing they study at the Brigham.
